Author to appear at Firewheel book store
Event Details: Murphy area resident Perla Sarabia Johnson will sign copies of her science fiction book "Global WarNing" from 10:30 a.m. to noon July 31 at Barnes & Noble Firewheel in Garland.The bookstore is located on 190 Cedar Sage Dr. The Gulf oil disaster makes "Global WarNing" set in Dallas, even more relevant, Johnson said. "Imagine a world where a damaged environment leads to a frightening evolution of living things," she said.
