WISD offers summer food service program
Event Details: The Wylie Independent School District will again sponsor the Summer Food Service Program. The program begins July 19 and continues through Aug. 6 at Dodd Elementary School. The Dodd Elementary School Summer Program is a closed enrolled facility. To participate in the food service program, students must be enrolled in the summer Bilingual/ESL classes and be on either a free or reduced food program. Income eligibility will be based on family size and standards used to determine free and reduced-price eligibility, provided by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The daily instructional schedule at Dodd Elementary will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast will not be served.
